The Cultural Nomads Project aims to spark a global conversation about iconic influencers, who helped to reshape classical arts and culture for modernity.
We think that the aftermath of Covid-19 is particularly cruel to the performative arts throughout the world. Despite being deprived of regular training in the studios and the excitement of performances, the international dance community showed an amazing discipline and dedication to the art of dance since the beginning of the pandemic.
With our first instalment of programs, we express our support to the artists who continue to perfect their skills and artistry.
Our heroes—we call them nomads of culture—exemplify perfection and creativity in their respective fields of art. Their talents blossomed at the intersections of different cultures and have contributed to the reshaping of classical cultural and art traditions for modernity.

- Tatiana SenkevitchFounder & Editorial DirectorThe founder and editorial director of the Cultural Nomads project, Tatiana Senkevitch, is a historian of art and dance. Apart from her teaching work, Tatiana has served as Research Associate at the J. Paul Getty Museum; the Getty Research Institute; Centre Jean Pepin, CNRS (Paris) and the Canada Art Ballet Project (Toronto). She is the author of numerous journal articles, book chapters and film interviews. She currently lives in Paris, France.
- Igor MalakhovExecutive ProducerOur Executive Producer Igor Malakhov has more then 25 years of international journalistic experience with television (ABC News, ARTE, ARD/WDR, CNN), as well as with prominent lifestyle magazines (AD magazine, ELLE, GQ, Vogue, Martha Stewart). A multimedia content producer who has covered topics ranging from bloody wars to haute couture fashion shows, Igor is always on the lookout for amazing stories to tell. He currently splits time between Toronto (Canada) and Warsaw (Poland).
